BACKGROUND

This project aims at creating a website for a multi-vendor home accessories store based in the UK. They bridge the gap between vendors and customers by providing a platform where the customers can have access to a variety of goods by different producers and vendors listed on the website, and on the flip side, vendors have their goods on a platform where target customers can easily reach them.

SITUATION: The business has a physical store where business activity is currently running and clients’ visits to the store are slow-paced because a lot of customers are online shoppers which takes away the hassles of visiting the store.

TASK: As the Business Analyst, I had the task of identifying the gap in the business to create an online presence by building a website for the business.

I organized a meeting with the stakeholders to gather more information about the project goals and objectives. During the meeting, we conducted thorough discussions to understand the specific requirements and expectations of each stakeholder. This allowed us to gain valuable insights into the different perspectives and priorities involved. After analyzing the data collected from the meeting, I recommended a comprehensive solution that addressed the key concerns and aligned with the overall project objectives. Additionally, I presented a detailed analysis of the gathered information, highlighting the rationale behind the proposed solution and the potential impact it could have on the project’s success.

RESULT: The high visibility generated by the marketing campaign had a significant impact on the business, leading to a remarkable 40% increase in both sales and newsletter sign-ups. This surge in sales and customer engagement not only bolstered the company’s revenue streams but also amplified its brand presence in the market. The compelling nature of the campaign’s reach and effectiveness resonated with the target audience, driving unprecedented interest and conversion rates. Such phenomenal results underscore the efficacy of the strategic marketing approach, demonstrating its capacity to not only capture attention but also drive tangible business growth.
